The purpose of the FOL is to support our libraries and literacy throughout St Mary's County so we started an online store!
There are now thousands of items, and an ever-increasing selection as we add new items every day. All proceeds directly support our libraries.

The Friends of the St. Mary’s County Library (FOL) is an organization of persons interested in libraries who advocate for and support the library as a group and individually. The Friends of the St. Mary’s County Library has raised over $924,000 for St. Mary’s County Library.
Members receive FOL newsletters and early buying privileges at the book sales before the sale opens to the public. Our membership year runs fromm January through December. If you join or renew after October 1, your membership will be good through December of the following year.
