Legendary filmmaker Michael Mann wrote the foreword and will be making this astonishing, non-fiction international thriller into a major movie. Elaine, who has worked for Time and Newsweek and is an expert on the drug trade and terrorism, also wrote the bestseller Desperados: Latin Drug Lords, US Lawmen and the War America Cannot Win, which served as the basis for a major Emmy-winning NBC series.
